HOW LONG WILL A 100AH LITHIUM BATTERY LAST IN AN RV?
A 100Ah battery does not have one fixed runtime. The answer depends on how many watts your RV is using, how long those loads run, whether they are 12V or inverter-powered, and whether solar, driving or shore power is putting energy back in.
The simple answer

That gives you a useful starting point. If the RV is using 100W continuously, the theoretical runtime is about 12.8 hours. At 200W, about 6.4 hours. At 500W, about 2.6 hours. Real runtime should be expected to be lower because of reserve, inverter losses, conversion losses, temperature, battery limits and the fact that many loads cycle on and off.

These are simple energy calculations, not guaranteed runtimes. High-current loads, inverter efficiency, battery BMS limits and reserve can materially change the result.
Why overnight RV use can surprise people
Small loads add up
A furnace fan, fridge, lights, phones, CPAP and Starlink may each look manageable alone. Run several of them for eight to twelve hours and a 100Ah battery can disappear faster than expected.
Some loads cycle
A fridge or furnace may be switched on all night without actually drawing full power every minute. The useful number is the average energy used over time, not just the nameplate watts.
Inverter loads cost extra energy
Running 120V appliances through an inverter adds conversion loss and often adds inverter standby draw as well. A 100Ah bank that feels comfortable on direct 12V loads can feel much smaller once frequent 120V loads are added.
Starting state of charge matters
If the battery begins the evening at 70% instead of full, the available runtime is already reduced before the first load turns on.

For light camping with dependable charging, it may be. If your daily use is only a few hundred watt-hours and you recharge every day, 100Ah can be practical. If your daily load is close to 1,000Wh or more, you are using a large share of the battery each day before reserve and losses.
If your RV regularly uses Starlink, a residential fridge, long furnace runtime, a microwave, coffee maker or other inverter loads, the better question becomes: how much energy do you use per day, and how reliably can you replace it?

How many watt-hours are in a 100Ah lithium battery?
At 12.8V nominal, 100Ah is about 1,280Wh of nominal stored energy. Real usable energy depends on the battery, temperature, BMS limits, state of charge and system losses.
How long will a 100Ah battery run a fridge?
You need the fridge's actual daily watt-hours, not only its running watts. Compressor fridges cycle, so multiply the average running power by actual compressor run time or use measured daily energy if available.
How long will a 100Ah lithium battery run Starlink?
That depends on the Starlink model and hours of use. A full-size Starlink can be a significant continuous load, while Starlink Mini generally uses less energy. Include the rest of the RV loads before deciding the battery size.
Can I run a microwave from a 100Ah lithium battery?
Possibly, but microwave runtime is only one part of the question. The battery BMS, inverter, cables, fuse and connections all have to support the high current safely. Short runtime can use relatively little total energy while still demanding substantial instantaneous current.
